Oppositelock car purchases are contagious, as seen in the case of the ST and now the GTI. Which means the moment that one of us buys an Avantime, we’re probably all going to have to learn how to complain about French engineering in French.

Due to my experience with it I don’t fear French engineering at all. E arly 00s Renaults though, no thanks. Later ones are infinitely better.

After replacing the computer, the wiring harness, the rear suspension with cargo coils and KYBs, rebuilding the transmission with a mild shift kit and adding a cooler, it’s actually been totally reliable. It just needed everything fixed that Ford f ucked up....

I’ve been keeping an eye on FR-S/BRZ prices, and they still suck. Granted, no one buys them out here, but still. And my FiST was the only one for sale in the province when I bought it.
